On 27th October, China Three Gorges Europe organised an entertaining and meaningful volunteering & team building activity at Kuna Ibérica Wildlife Rescue Centre (Navas del Rey, Madrid), collaborating on daily tasks such as feeding the animals, cleaning their living spaces and information signs.
Our coworkers also enjoyed close contact with some of the most emblematic animals of the Centre, like skunk, bearded dragon, eagle owl, etc., learning more about their habitat, diet, behaviour, and what we can do to conserve the essential biodiversity of Spain.
The company also fostered a Spanish imperial eagle with a broken wing due to electrocution. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the personnel and the selfless dedication of volunteers, hundreds of unrecoverable and abandoned animals of the Centre have a second chance to have a life with dignity.
While actively supporting Spain's energy transition, CTG Europe is also committed to protecting the biodiversity around our plant sites, striving to achieve sustainable and healthy development, and jointly building a community of life on earth.
