CTG Launched Scholarship Program for Pakistani Migrants

CTG has invested an estimated amount of $ 6 billion in Pakistan for clean energy projects, dedicating to the benefit of its local people and economy. During the construction of Karot Hydropower Plant, Kohala Hydropower Plant and other large clean energy projects, CTG has been actively taking social responsibilities, such as the launch of the Scholarship Program for Pakistani Migrants. The program aimed to address local resettlement and realize poverty alleviation through education. Initiated by CTG, it represents a joint effort between the Punjab University (Pakistan), Jiangxi University of Science and Technology and Confucius Institute (China). It provides financial aids for selected young candidates, who will start their undergraduate study during 2017 - 2022 under a so-called “2+2” mode, which allows the students to spend the first two years at a local university of Pakistan and then transfer to a Chinese university for another two years of education. More than 100 students will receive full scholarship to get through their academic career.
