In an initiative to inspire the next generation, CTG Asia-Africa hosted a group of students from “Suwaymra Mixed Secondary School”, from the Southern Education Directorate for an educational visit to Al Rajef Wind Energy Project. The event aimed to raise awareness about renewable energy, encourage interest in science and technology, and highlight the role of sustainable practices in shaping a better future.
The visit began with an engaging presentation by project engineers, who explained the fundamentals of wind energy and the operations of the Al Rajef Wind Energy Project. The students learned about how wind turbines convert wind flow into electricity, contributing to Jordan’s renewable energy goals while reducing the country's reliance on fossil fuels.
During the guided tour of the facility, the students witnessed the impressive scale of the wind turbines up close, many asking insightful questions about the technology and its environmental benefits. The team shared how the project supports Jordan's commitment to sustainability and creates job opportunities in the local community.
The visit concluded with a group photo and a distribution of eco-friendly souvenirs as a reminder of the importance of renewable energy and environmental protection.
By opening its doors to young minds, CTG Asia-Africa through Al Rajef Wind Energy Project reaffirmed its commitment to community engagement and education. This initiative reflects the project’s dedication to inspiring the leaders of tomorrow to champion sustainability and innovation in Jordan and beyond.
